Flag Raising Ceremony - New York

On May 26, at 6 pm, in New York, on Wall Street (Bowling Green), with the support of American Georgians for Progress, a flag-raising ceremony will be held on Georgia's Independence Day.

This tradition was founded on May 26, 2009 under the leadership of Tamar Davitashvili, Manana Goginava and Lali Samkharadze.

American Georgians for Progress (AGP) strives to deepen United States - Georgia friendship and strategic partnership. AGP is devoted to supporting and implementing projects that advance democracy, media freedom, the rule of law, anti-corruption efforts, human rights and fundamental freedoms.
