Mtavari Channel Washington D.C Bureau
Demna, joined the "Main Channel" team in September 2021. As a correspondent for the Washington Bureau, Demna covers US foreign policy, diplomatic relations between official Washington and Tbilisi, as well as current political and social developments in the United States. Demna has been living in the US since 2017. Prior to his correspondence career, he worked as a human rights researcher in Washington, D.C., and studied the state of human rights and media freedom in 25 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Demna holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in public policy administration.
Vazha has many years of experience working as a television cameraman. At various times, he worked for Georgian television channels in both news and production directions. Vaja has been living in the US since 2017. Since September 2021, he has been working as the operator of the Washington bureau of the "Main Channel".
